Welcome to the home page of the Clontarf Beach Scout Group which is situated approx. 32 klms north of Brisbane on the shores of Moreton Bay.
Clontarf Beach Scout Group commenced at it's current location in Isobel Street, Clontarf in 1957 and has been providing excellent Scouting
to the youth in the Community for over 50 years. The Group currently has members in Joey Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Scouts.
CLONTARF BEACH SCOUT GROUP WILL BE HOLDING ITS 11TH ANNUAL "WHEELS OF THE CENTURY AUTOMOTIVE SHOW" ON SUNDAY, 6TH NOVEMBER 2011 AT THE REDCLIFFE SHOWGROUNDS. FURTHER DETAILS CAN BE FOUND ON OUR CAR SHOW PAGE.

IN DECEMBER 2006, CLONTARF BEACH SCOUT GROUP HAD THE HONOUR OF BEING THE FIRST GROUP IN THE REDCLIFFE DISTRICT TO BECOME A CHARTERED GROUP
The responsibilities of a Charter are:
1. Increase the Groups membership
2. Maintain adequately trained staff to implement the Youth Programme
3. Operate in accordance with Branch Policy and Procedures.
The Charter is the licence to deliver the Australian Scout Youth Programme. As with any licence, an essential ingredient is to strive for excellence. The Charter sets out criteria for a local community to adhere to in order to remain eligible to deliver the Scout Programme.
AIMS OF SCOUTING:
Scouting helps our children and youth develop confidence, self-reliance, good friendship and a concern for
the world in which we live in.
The aims of Scouting is to encourage the physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual development of young people so that they take a
constructive place in society as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
SUPPORTERS ~ SPONSORS:
The youth members, the Leaders and the Committee of Clontarf Beach Scout Group thank the Redcliffe City Council for
their donation under their 2006 REDCAP Grants Programme towards the purchase of security fencing and the installation of emergency lighting, smoke detectors and illuminated exit signs to the Den.
The Group would also like to thank Jupiters Casino Community Benefit Fund for their Grant in 2007 towards the re-roofing of the main Scout Den.
We would also like to thank the Redcliffe City Council for their Grant in Dec. 2007 through the REDCAP Communities Scheme to pay for the painting of
the inside and outside of the Scout Den.
A Scout Group is full of active young people and it takes quite a lot of funds to be able to continue to challenge Australia's future generation.
There is equipment, insurance and a hall that must be kept in safe working condition.
If you think you or your business would be able to help in a financial way, please contact our Group Leader to discuss a number of sponsorship
options that may be of interest.
